Who We Are
We are a South African non-profit organisation working at the intersection of climate action, sustainable development, and community empowerment. Our mission is to equip under-resourced communities with practical skills to adapt to and combat climate change through renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, and circular economy innovations.
Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 13: Climate Action, we implement solutions such as household and school-based biogas digesters, carbon-capturing algae systems, and soil regeneration projects that reduce environmental harm while creating green livelihoods.
We believe in a future where clean energy and climate resilience are accessible to all — regardless of background or income level. Through skills development, education, and local partnerships, we’re turning this vision into reality, one community at a time.
Skills Development
We believe that real change starts with practical knowledge and the power to act. Our skills development programme equips individuals — especially youth, women, and unemployed community members — with hands-on training to build sustainable livelihoods. From constructing biogas digesters and using renewable energy technologies, to turning waste into opportunity through recycling and regenerative farming, our goal is to unlock local talent and create green jobs. By investing in skills, we are investing in self-reliance, climate resilience, and a future where no one is left behind.
Climate Action & Awareness
Climate change is not a distant threat — it’s a daily reality for many communities. Our Climate Action & Awareness programme is dedicated to educating and mobilising people with the knowledge and tools they need to understand the climate crisis and respond meaningfully. Through community workshops, school engagements, and grassroots campaigns, we raise awareness about the causes and impacts of climate change, promote local adaptation strategies, and encourage behaviour change. By connecting global issues like SDG 13 to everyday life, we’re building informed, climate-resilient communities that are ready to lead the change.
Regenerative Farming Practices
Healthy soil is the foundation of healthy communities. Our Regenerative Farming Practices programme supports emerging farmers and households with training in climate-smart, low-cost agricultural techniques that restore soil health, improve food security, and strengthen local economies. We promote composting, vermiculture, organic fertiliser use, water-wise gardening, and natural pest control — all rooted in traditional wisdom and modern ecological science. By working with nature, not against it, we help communities produce nutritious food while healing the land and building long-term resilience against climate shocks.
