Climate Action & Awareness

Climate Action & Awareness

Building climate-literate communities ready to lead local change.

Climate change is no longer a future issue — it’s already affecting water, food, and health in our most vulnerable communities. But before people can act, they must first understand. Our Climate Action & Awareness Programme is designed to bring climate education to life in a way that is accessible, localised, and empowering.

Through interactive workshops, school engagements, and township-based campaigns, we break down complex climate science into practical knowledge that people can connect to their daily lives. We use storytelling, visual learning, and hands-on experiences to build climate literacy, promote adaptation strategies, and shift behaviours.

Our initiatives include:

  • Community Climate Workshops
Conversations on climate justice, extreme weather, resilience, and sustainable living tailored for everyday people.
  • School-Based Climate Education
Talks, activities, and games that teach children about environmental stewardship, recycling, and the future of clean energy.
  • Localised SDG Awareness Campaigns
Using posters, social media, radio, and art to make the Sustainable Development Goals (especially SDG 13: Climate Action) relevant at township and village level.
  • Youth Climate Leadership Circles
Engaging and mentoring young people to become climate ambassadors in their communities — sparking peer learning and leadership.
  • Practical Adaptation Tips
Teaching households how to save water, reduce energy use, compost, and prepare for weather extremes.

By raising awareness and inspiring behaviour change, we’re creating a grassroots movement for climate action — led by the very people most affected.
