Regenerative Farming Practices

Healing the land, feeding communities, and restoring food sovereignty.

With degraded soil, water scarcity, and rising food costs, conventional farming is no longer sustainable for small-scale and township communities. Our Regenerative Farming Practices Programme promotes nature-based solutions that rebuild soil health, boost food production, and reduce dependency on harmful chemicals or imported food.

Rooted in both traditional knowledge and ecological science, we train households, early childhood centres, and emerging farmers in techniques that bring the land back to life — while also supporting household nutrition and income generation.

We focus on:

  • Composting & Vermiculture (Earthworm Farming)
Turning food and garden waste into rich organic fertiliser for healthier soil and stronger crops.
  • Agroecology & Water-Wise Gardening
Promoting intercropping, mulching, natural pest control, and indigenous plant use in small or backyard spaces.
  • Organic Seedlings & Soil Restoration
Teaching how to regenerate depleted land using cover crops, organic matter, and minimal tilling.
  • Food Gardens for Schools & Households
Supporting families and feeding schemes with low-cost, high-yield gardens that improve food security.
  • Farmer-to-Farmer Learning Circles
Creating platforms where local growers can share knowledge, seeds, tools, and successes — building a regenerative community.

We don’t just grow food — we grow self-sufficiency, dignity, and ecological harmony.
